He worked his way through college and law school, earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at LSU and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, at Southern University Law Center. In law school, Andrew Quackenbos was the recipient of a full academic scholarship and graduated second in his class. After practicing at a New Orleans-based defense firm for five years, Andrew Quackenbos joined Domengeaux Wright Roy & Edwards, LLC.

Today, a large part of Andrew Quackenbos’s practice is dedicated to protecting and enforcing the rights of individuals injured offshore. Before joining the firm, Andrew represented and defended employers, manufacturers, designers, and their respective insurers in cases pending in both Louisiana and Texas for five years. That experience gives him a unique perspective on how best to pursue the relief his injured clients’ seek and deserve, whether under the Jones Act, general maritime law, Louisiana law, or any other law applicable to a case.

Andrew Quackenbos’s practice also includes the handling of commercial disputes. He has unique industry knowledge from working in the municipal construction and marine service sectors, where his duties included ensuring contractual compliance, quality assurance and control, and the planning, implementation, and execution of job site activities and safety.
