Andrew Quackenbos is a managing member and lead trial counsel at Domengeaux Wright Roy & Edwards, LLC.  He is an aggressive litigator who has obtained numerous multimillion dollar trial verdicts and settlements for his clients

In February of 2024, Andrew Quackenbos obtained a $216,000,000.00 verdict in Lafayette Parish.  It was, and remains, the largest wrongful death award in the history of any court located in Lafayette and the surrounding parishes in Acadiana and South Louisiana.

Andrew worked his way through college and law school.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at LSU.  He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, at Southern University Law Center where he was the recipient of an academic scholarship and graduated second in his class. Andrew’s engineering background gives him an edge over the competition in all types of personal injury cases, especially those that have technical aspects requiring a critical eye.  This background allows him to specialize in offshore, maritime, industrial, equipment, trucking, and other complex matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew defended big oil and other corporate defendants while working for a large defense firm in New Orleans.  His experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases gives him a unique advantage in knowing exactly how both sides prepare their cases for trial.

Andrew is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  He has also previously been admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and pro hac vice in federal and state courts in Texas.
