Dustin B. Gibson brings over fifteen years of legal experience and dedicated client service to Domengeaux Wright Roy and Edwards. Prior to law school, Dustin graduated from UL Lafayette with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. During this time at UL, Dustin served as intern in Washington, D.C., for United States Senator, John Breaux. 

Dustin went on to graduate from Loyola University New Orleans’ College of Law, where he volunteered to mentor younger students, as a Board Member of Loyola’s Trial Advocacy program. While in law school, Dustin excelled as a law clerk with the law firm of Usry, Weeks & Matthews in New Orleans, helping to defend claims against law enforcement officers across the State of Louisiana in civil lawsuits. 

After earning his law license and passing the bar exam in 2007, Dustin served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Byron Hebert in the 15^th Judicial District Court for Vermilion Parish, Lafayette Parish and Acadia Parish. Then, Dustin had the privilege of practicing for 4 years at a preeminent Vermilion Parish law firm. He handled complex suits for both plaintiffs and defendants. In 2013, Dustin moved his practice to Lafayette and opened his own personal injury firm.  

Dustin is active in his family, his faith and the community. He has (mostly) enjoyed volunteering to coach youth baseball. Dustin currently serves on the ministry team of his church, mentoring young couples and teaching about marriage and finances. Dustin likes to travel and to spend time with his wife, and their two boys.
