After graduating from Louisiana State University where he was a four-year letterman in track and field, Ross’s legal journey began at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where his talent for advocacy became evident early on. He earned the River Parishes Claimant’s Memorial Scholarship, was named the best oralist at a competition held at the federal courthouse in New Orleans, and served as an editor for a legal journal.

Before switching to plaintiff’s work, Ross spent ten years as a defense lawyer, building a strong reputation representing the largest companies and their insurers. He took pride in facing the toughest opponents, and secured strong results for his clients, following the aggressive, but always professional, results-based approach his mentors taught him. As a defense lawyer, he earned the prestigious Frank L. Maraist Award, an honor given to a lawyer who demonstrates exceptional legal skill, professionalism, and dedication to the practice. But Ross’s best days came when he could shake the hand of an injured worker and resolve a case fairly. He followed his instincts to Domengeaux, Wright, Roy & Edwards LLC, to build a practice representing those who have been injured.

Beyond the courtroom, Ross remains deeply engaged in the legal community. He serves on several boards where he works to support the community and advance the legal profession. His leadership and service have earned him the respect of his peers, and he continues to mentor young lawyers and contribute to the legal profession.

Despite his busy legal career, Ross’s greatest joy and purpose is his family. He and his wife, Clare, are raising three wonderful children, and he values every moment he spends with them. Whether it’s coaching soccer, attending school events, or simply enjoying time together, Ross is deeply committed to raising his family with the right values.
